These are pictures of a 3 weeks trip in Salta Province in the North of Argentina. Visit Salta in the Valle de Lerma,  Cafayate and Cachi in the Quebrada de Calchaquies and walk into the mountains up north, pass the Cardones cacti and find out how the few people in the mountains live. Have a look at the seldom visited Red Valley (Pukamayo in Quechua) , more vividly colored than its counterparts in Colorado and Utah!
